Gas does not run out: if it is low, there is a leak
An air conditioning circuit is sealed. If refrigerant is missing, it has escaped somewhere. Refilling without finding the leak means paying to have the same problem again.
Older units with R22
R22 can no longer be refilled with new gas. Depending on the condition of the unit, we can look at a replacement gas or at swapping it for a modern, usually more efficient machine.
Signs of low gas
The unit cools poorly, takes much longer than before, or ice appears on the pipe or the unit.
