Air conditioning in Marbella, Puerto Banús and Nueva Andalucía
We have been working in Marbella since 1994. We install units in town-centre flats, beachfront apartments and villas in Nueva Andalucía, and we know what works in each.
What changes between a town-centre flat and a villa
In the Old Town and the centre, the challenge is usually where to put the outdoor unit without spoiling the façade and while respecting the community rules. In these cases, a wall-mounted split or a multi-split with a single outdoor unit can cover the home with very little work.
On the beachfront, between the Golden Mile and Puerto Banús, sea salt is hard on outdoor units. A sheltered position and regular maintenance make all the difference to how long the unit lasts.
Nueva Andalucía and Los Monteros have many large homes with lots of rooms, where ducted systems or an air-to-water heat pump give a cleaner, more even result than several separate units.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work in Puerto Banús and Nueva Andalucía?
Yes. We work throughout the municipality of Marbella, from the centre to Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía, Las Chapas and Elviria. Tell us where the property is and we will prepare a free quote.
Do I need permission from my community to fit the outdoor unit?
It depends on the statutes and on where the unit goes. A unit on the façade usually needs approval, and many urbanisations have their own rules. It is best to check before installing, and we will help you find the most discreet spot.
What capacity do I need for my home?
As a rough guide, allow about 100 W per square metre, but the figure changes with orientation, ceiling height, insulation and glazing. A living room with large south-facing windows needs far more than an interior bedroom of the same size.
Can I buy just the unit, without installation?
Yes. If you already have an installer, you can buy Daikin units from our online shop, instaladoratermica.com, which is in Spanish. If you would like us to install it, get in touch and we will prepare a full quote.
